Soothes skin irritations, especially for weather-worn skin. Absolute Aromas Benzoin 40% Essential Oil is useful for all the family, particularly during the winter months when it is ideal for use in steam inhalations as well as in baths or massage blends for dry or weather-worn skin. Benzoin is a balsamic resin obtained from the bark of a type of tree found across Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam belonging to the genus Styrax tonkinensis. Usage

Aromatic: Use three to four drops in the diffuser of your choosing. Topical: Apply one to two drops to the desired area. Dilute with any carrier oil to minimize any skin irritation. Safety: If pregnant, nursing or under a doctor’s care, consult a physician. Discontinue use if skin irritation occurs. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not use undiluted on skin. Keep out of the reach of children. Do not use on cracked skin or abrasions. Do not use orally, unless directed by a licensed Aromatherapist or physician.
